Riley Wesemann
About
Riley Wesemann is a Manhattan, Kansas family law attorney at Addair Law who helps clients throughout Kansas's 8th Judicial District navigate divorce, custody, child support, parenting time, and other family law matters with compassion, preparation, and clear communication.
Riley earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Utah in 2017, with a minor in Writing and Rhetoric. Before pursuing law, she was on a pre-medical path and focused on cancer and diabetic research involving women and children. An experience in a pediatric emergency room ultimately helped Riley realize that her calling was not in medicine, but in advocacy. She saw that the courtroom offered another way to help people through some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
Riley went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2022, where she focused on health care law and family law. She then worked as an administrative assistant to the Honorable Carla G. Testani of the Third Circuit Court in Wayne County, Michigan, gaining a close look at the court system that strengthened her commitment to family law. She was admitted to the Kansas bar in May 2025.
At Addair Law, Riley brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to family law matters, with a growing trial practice across the 8th Judicial District. She recently represented a client in a contested adoption case — an experience she found especially rewarding — and is eager to take on more adoption matters going forward. She understands that cases involving children, parenting, support, and family transitions are deeply personal. Her goal is to help clients understand the process, feel prepared for each step, and make informed decisions about their families and their futures.
Outside the office, Riley enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She loves to travel, bake, and read all kinds of books.
