About
Born and raised in Manhattan, Kansas, Logan Hoover brings deep local roots, international experience, and multilingual fluency to his criminal defense practice at Addair Law. He represents clients facing misdemeanor charges and non-felony DUI cases, with a focus on clear communication, careful preparation, and making sure each client feels heard and respected.
Logan earned his Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in 2013, majoring in Sociology and Modern Languages with an emphasis in Spanish. After graduation, he spent two years traveling by motorcycle from Kansas to South America, covering approximately 30,000 miles across 19 countries on a Kawasaki KLR 650. Along the way, he built lasting relationships throughout Latin America, including in La Preciosita, Puebla, Mexico, where he has returned regularly to reconnect with friends.
After returning to Kansas, Logan completed his Master’s degree in Modern Languages at Kansas State University in 2019. As part of his Master’s education, Logan taught undergraduates in Spanish. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in May 2024 and was admitted to the Kansas bar in September 2024.
Logan’s history with Addair Law began before he became an attorney. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has served as an intern, paralegal, summer associate, and, through Washburn Law’s Third Year Anywhere program, as a Rule 715 licensed attorney under the direct supervision of firm founder Tom Addair. During that year, Logan worked closely with Tom on motions, hearings, courtroom preparation, and case strategy. That progression gave him hands-on experience across the life of a criminal case and a practical understanding of client communication, case development, and courtroom advocacy.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Logan is especially committed to serving Hispanic and multilingual communities throughout Manhattan, the Flint Hills, and across Kansas. His commitment to Spanish-speaking clients is rooted not only in language study, but also in years of travel, relationships, and lived cultural experience.
Outside the courtroom, Logan serves on the board of directors of PRAY, Project Rescue of Amazon Youth. In October 2025, he began volunteering as a site-based Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Riley County; he meets with his Little Brother weekly during the school year. In February 2026, he was named one of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce’s 20 Under 40. In April 2026, he became a Young Trustee with the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation.
