Josh Boehm
About
Josh Boehm is a Manhattan, Kansas family law attorney at Addair Law who helps clients navigate divorce, custody, child support, parenting time, and other family law matters with practical guidance and steady advocacy. He regularly represents clients in family law matters in all NE Kansas Counties on I-70 including Pottawatomie County, Shawnee County, Douglas County and the counties throughout Southeast Kansas.
Josh grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Viterbo University before working in retail management and later the nonprofit sector. His desire to support people in a more direct and meaningful way led him to Washburn University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in December 2011. He was admitted to the Kansas bar in April 2012.
For the first decade of his legal career, Josh worked as a general practitioner across Kansas, gaining broad experience in courtroom litigation, business law, real estate, estate planning, tax, municipal law, and government contracting.
That range of experience now strengthens his family law practice: divorce, custody, and support matters often involve overlapping concerns — finances, property, parenting schedules, and long-term planning for a family's future — and Josh's background helps him identify practical issues early and guide clients with a clear view of the bigger picture.
Now with more than 14 years of legal experience, Josh leads Addair Law's family law division. He understands that family law matters are deeply personal, often stressful, and rarely limited to paperwork alone, and his goal is to help clients protect their interests, understand their options, and move forward with confidence. His background in business law and estate planning gives him particular strength in high-asset and high-net-worth divorce cases — work that often requires navigating complex property division and financial disclosure — and Addair Law assigns these cases to Josh statewide, regardless of county, given that experience.
Outside of his practice, Josh is a devoted father and spouse who enjoys running and hiking. He also supports organizations that invest in youth development, reflecting his broader commitment to strengthening families and communities both inside and outside the legal system.
