KSU Career Closet Collaboration
Addair Law's 2026 intern class has selected the KSU Career Closet as its pro bono community service project. We are encouraging local businesses and professionals to help support Kansas State University's Career Closet by donating new or gently used professional attire that students can use for interviews, internships, career fairs, and new employment opportunities.
The K-State Career Closet helps students access business attire for interviews, internships, career fairs, and new employment opportunities. Donations may include business casual to business professional clothing such as suits, blouses, dress shirts, dress pants, belts, ties, accessories, and gently worn shoes. K-State asks that donated clothing be clean, in good to excellent condition, and current in style. More information about the Career Closet is available at https://www.k-state.edu/careercenter/students/apply_interview/attire/.
Local businesses and professionals can support the project in one of two ways:
Option 1 – Donate Directly to K-State Career Closet
Donors may drop off professional clothing directly with K-State's Career Closet. This option allows donors to complete the appropriate paperwork to receive documentation for tax purposes. Additional information is available at:
https://www.k-state.edu/careercenter/students/apply_interview/attire/
Option 2: Host a Workplace Clothing Drive
Businesses may also host a professional clothing drive in their office and contact Addair Law’s intern team to arrange pickup. Addair Law interns will collect and deliver donations to K-State on a designated drop-off date of July 24, 2026. Because these donations will be combined and delivered together, tax donation documentation cannot be provided through this option.
“At Addair Law, Compassion, Collaboration, Confidence, and Commitment are our core values and why we take steps to help our community." said Tom Addair. “Through this project, our interns are demonstrating tremendous compassion and commitment to other students by collaborating with local businesses to provide students professional clothing that will help them feel prepared and confident as they take important next steps in their professional lives.”
